We are a leader in the Maine greenhouse industry and continue to look for fresh ideas to bring excitement to your gardening experience. Come and enjoy our modern, gutter-connected greenhouses and outstanding display beds. During our special event weekends, we offer a variety of demonstrations, informative lectures, and hands-on classes to help you reach new levels in horticulture.

Our garden center is filled with everything you need to be successful in gardening.  We have an outstanding selection of seeds, seed starting supplies, flowering bulbs for spring and fall, plant containers and pottery, hardware, gardening tools, soils and amendments, statuary, fountains, bird supplies and garden gift items.

Our gift department is filled with high-quality items such as Natural Life™ clothing and accessories, Chavez for Charity™ bracelets, baggallini™ handbags, Kole™ jewelry, Simply Noelle™ clothing and accessories, S'Well™ water bottles, Scout™ bags and so much more.

Starting in early spring, our perennial and nursery department is stocked with hundreds of perennials, (most grown right at Longfellow's) trees, shrubs and vines.

From May to early fall, we grow a wide variety of pre-planted mixed containers, patio pots, hanging baskets and window-boxes filled with reliable annuals for bright, moderate or low-sun conditions.

Our foliage department is filled with lush houseplants and is a great year-round destination.  There are seasonal flowering plants and beautiful foliage plants to fit any spot and light requirement in your home or office.

Whatever the season, Longfellow's Greenhouses are full of the perfect plants for your home and garden needs.  Think Longfellow's for fall mums, holiday poinsettias, spring flowers and summer vegetables.

Established in 1977, we are the largest greenhouse in Maine.
